Hello Bernd, are any of your family members are suffering from dementia? My mother is, and its so cruel. I feel so sorry for her. She lost almost everything, cannot think clearly, cannt speak clearly, lays in bed 24h a day...she is in a carecenter, always saying she wants to go home...it breaks me to see her suffer...never felt so sorry for someone i know. Its an awful disease, so awaful.

my great grandma had dementia before passing. she lives on the other side of the globe and she died during the lockdowns so i couldn't see her. but apparently it was really bad. my mom told me that if she ever ended up like that, that I should euthanize her. quite based, i'd also want to be euthanized if i was in that state.

>>25653599 I realized that everyone who has seen a family member dying from dementia says they will kill themselves if they ever realize they have dementia too.

>>25653572 My one uncle is. Couple times when his wife was out of town I stayed with him to y'know make sure he didn't wander off and ate and had his pills. The only stressful part was he kept wanting to go in her room but that's where the pills are and I didn't want him getting into them but he'll get irritated with you trying to follow him around.
