Deer have certainly been hunted with bows for longer than ten thousand years, yes I suppose a predator might lunge into the air to reach it's body thus legitimizing the drop towards the ground too though Baby deer drop to the ground entirely as soon as something scares them I think

The arrow bounced off the fucking ground before impaling itself into the ground. How the fuck does that work?

how could this be evolution if bows are not a result of evolution but the making of a sentient being?

>>25649031 Either because the bows existed for long enough for the species to adapt to them, or the bow adequately simulates something that the species already adapted for, see >>25649021

No, lmao, it's just starting to run. It would do the same for any unexpected noise.

yes I'm sure a one in a gorillion 'reflexively twist your torso toward the ground in the opposite of the direction that it comes from whenever you hear a twanging sound' genetic mutation would randomly appear within the deer population sometime in the last 10 or 20 millennia in order for it to be selected for, that makes perfect sense clearly this is a case of ancestral memory

>>25649046 Do you not live around deer? They start basically jumping upwards while running away from shit, like they're running and jumping at the same time

>>25649031 sentience is the result of evolution. Bows and all human constructions, are just like beaver dams or wasp nests in that regard. Everything humans do is nature in action. Nothing is artificial.
Bernd Sun, 16 Mar 2025 01:57:47 GMT No. 25649425
>>25649090 And how do they jump up without first bending their legs down? The quick reaction time of the deer caused that gathering of power, by dropping down so he could break into a run, to drop below the arrow. Watch as he bursts into a run. He rises up when he thrusts himself away with his legs and breaks into a run as much as he drops down first.
