As retarded as protectionism is, if he would just set the tariffs already and be done with it then there'd be less damage done. As it is no one knows what's gonna happen each day as tariffs are announced, altered and retracted repeatedly at random. A couple of days ago there were tariffs up on Canada for literal hours before they ceased. It's complete chaos and btw it's only going to get worse in a couple of years once Jerome Powell gets replaced with some other MAGA mongoloid who will probably follow Trump's Erdogan-tier insistence on lowering interest rates even when inflation isn't completely under control.
