Gripen is riddled with american components, and probably Eurofighter Typhoon is too.

You'd have to be a certain type of American to understand. But simply ask: if 1960s John Birch Society types won the Presidency, what would happen? NATO: gone, and the whole American-made post-1945 "rules-based world order" gone. IRS: gone. Federal Reserve: gone (no evidence of this happening yet). White "colonials" supported (Afrikaner problems getting official acknowledgement). Making the country the exact opposite of what it has been since 1945.
I am ashamed as a Pole-Central European that we bought these useless f-35 instead of EUROfighters or Rafales or Gripen or Abrams crap instead of Leo 2A8

Furthermore, everytime a F-35 wants to take off, Uncle Sam needs to be told the purpose of the flight, destination and whatnot and asked for permission. Imagine buying a fighter jet to defend your country but Uncle Sam having a say if you're actually allowed to use it for that purpose, and that for the entire life-span of the F-35.

Which means the Gripen is unfortunately not viable either due to American engines. Not sure about the Eurofighter too. I think the Rafale is actually the only one which completely without ITAR restrictions.

If the eurocrats don't seize this opportunity they are dumber and corrupter than I imagined. The demand for more military spending is the chance to dispense subsidies and install trade barriers solely in favor of the european economy and any objection by the burgers raise can be countered by "It's for military spending and national security to fulfill our obligations to NATO". Weapons procurement is the obvious first step but this could also be leveraged in other sectors like for tech. China leveraged the great firewall, capital controls and market restrictions for foreign countries to great success in building it's own tech companies. Europe could do a similar thing.

There should be thousands of rockets to make a difference on the frontline.
Hohols spent all their ~500 ATACMS without changing frontline and euros don't even have their tactical missiles

Almost all European tanks being newly ordered and introduced now have an APS, which presumably has all the facilities in place to fire at an incoming FPS drone as well.
Only problem might be oversaturazation, because in many videos from Ukraine you see vehicles getting hit 5-7 times or so. Dunno how many charges systems like Trophy at al carry these days.

The EU leaders are retard
HURR MORE TANKS AND APCs
for the cost of a single tank you get 50 000 drones

Whether it's an ATGM buzzing towards the tank or an FPV drone, doesn't make a difference. At most the sensitivity of the system would have to be tweeked, because it would need to react to slower objects as well.
All building blocks are in place, the rest is just codemonkey work.
And again: the real problems are oversaturaization and possibly also cost per charge/shot

Kek, nice cope.
Inreality Russians also have arena interception system and some stuff for armata but we don't see it on battlefield despite Russia having the strongest army in the world.
