Something I've noticed is that the Taiwanese are obsessed about China 24/7, I have this Taiwanese guy in my Chinese class and he's always butthurt about China he always DA COMMUNISTS BOMBED US N SHEIIIT, however the Chinese don't give a flying fuck about Taiwan, they're backwards in every aspect, in technology, infrastructure, etc. I've never heard a Chinese person even mention Taiwan, it's completely irrelevant for them. I hope the Brit expat Bernd that lives in China now can give some insight

I studied with some mainland chinkoids they did not care one bit abuot Taiwan, or politics, or studying for that matter There were very hedonistic, and were mostly partying all guys were fat and wore gucci everything and talked only about being rich and spending money all girls had latest iphone and tall blonde bf (interestingly most of those guys were not even good looking, typical bydło slavfaces, but all of them were 2m tall and blonde)

It was part of the People's Rpublic of China for 0 years. So the only claim that Peking has to that island is the thin layer of Manchu beaurocracy it had from 1683 until 1895, which isn't much, and certainly not 99% of history.
