You must be smart or a nigger to be admitted to a us med school. Alternatively, you can attend a Caribbean med school for 800k usd.

I was in med school for exactly a month until it became clear that the small amount of money I had budgeted for rent and living expenses wouldn't be enough to avoid malnutrition and bed bugs for the next four years of medical school. And generally, I'd suffered through two and a half decades of poverty and wanted to finally be rich, so I jumped ship and got a job. Now I'm making good money, and the job is kind of shitty, but the hours aren't too bad. If I'd stayed in med school, I'd be graduating a month or two from now, near age 30, completely broke, and lucky to get a $70k residency or fellowship in a high-cost-of-living city like SF of NY. Even less money in smaller cities and towns. Not worth it, at least if you're not from a rich background or saved up a million dollars before med school.

>>25627172 Maybe. For me the ROI wasn't good enough. There was more money and adventure to be had outside the medical profession.

>>25627193 I love medicine because there are some amazing people in it. Some really hardcore nurses and the genius men, and some people who are angels who live to give people a little push into love.

>>25627132 No, rich people who are dumb have to go to for-profit med schools in the Caribbean. Admission to legitimate US med schools is ultra competitive. No wonder, doctors there easily make 500k per year.

I heard some people go to the US Army for free medical education. Is it feasible or too risky with feature war with China?
