I saw a post on reddit of a guy saying he was using AI to speed up the development of a gayme and that soon we would have a flood of gaymes on steam and such
I'm still waiting. Maybe that'll make gayme prices go down and gta7 could arrive earlier than a decade after gta6 comes out

I had high hopes for the deluge of indie AI games. All I got was a pile of NTR crap.
I hate cuckolds so much you wouldn't believe

It takes a few years to make a polished product like a videogame, the things you have been seeing is just the absolute slop that Brazilian moneygrubbers has been shitting out from their laptops.

So much attentionbaiting by tech bros

Don't deny that some tech bros talked about extinction of the human race by AI

There's not even a mid-tier videogame

AI can do weeks of research in seconds. Obviously it doesn't translate to coding

The tricky thing about AI and coding is that it gets dramatically worse as soon as the project grows in complexity 3 or 4 steps beyond "hello world". So it deceives noobs by making the very first parts of writing code for their game very easy. Those noobs think they can just scale up the depth and breadth of their game with AI linearly, but AI completely ceases to be helpful in creating new functionality after the codebase exceeds 3 or 4 thousand lines of code. It's still helpful for debugging and implementing highly specific ideas in less time than it would take you to type it out, but you have to know what you're doing and give the AI very specific instructions.

Don't worry. AI will able to code GTA 6 in seconds soon
