while you're at it, write tests first and actual code second
this way you're doing yourself a great service

Great, I wish you luck! Python is so easy that you can start working on a project right away. Do you have anything in mind?

You need an actual reason to learn to Code. You also started with C, which is admirable, but not really what you should have done.
The reality is that unless you're a CS Grad whose going to do placement at some Enterprise company, your best bet is to do webshit, fire it all over your github, and try to get your foot in the door as a Junior.
The market for Junior's is DOOOOOGSHIT right now though. Everyone is hiring mid, and senior and thats it.

I started learning because I liked the aesthetic. When you get past the beginner stages it's a super fun hobby that will make you keep coming back

Programming is just mainly about dealing with people. Nobody is working and if you work too hard then people will blame you for being reckless and not respecting the processes. Just learn social skills and you'll survive in the world of IT

Works well in a big corporation with lots of pajeets and blue-haired persons of uncertain gender. Not so much in small start-ups.

There has never been worse time for learning to code than it is now.
The only worse time for that than now is tomorrow. And then the day after tomorrow, and the day after that, and so on and so forth.

Thats not the point, you dont need to learn it, you can just do what you wanted to do, but needed to learn first, before.

Protip: Start with a little project, can be as stupid as you want. For example, a text based question-answer game that reads questions and answers from a file.

Troll? That is for later when you can actually write some code without looking up five things per line.

Well the less the competition I guess.
