There's a small state in Brazil Called "Alagoas". I heard some people from there saying that this state is being controled by one family for over 400 years. We don't have many, especially not interesting ones. The only one I can think of is the Reichsbürger ("Reich citizen") scene: They think the current German system is illegitimate and either think the German Reich still exists or that they can just leave the current governmental system. It's about as legit as flat earth but more entertaining because they are often libertarian types who get in shoot outs with police. But I guess similar scenes also exist in other countries.
