I don’t think environmentalists ever thought electric vehicles were very good for the planet. All cars require a ton of materials and energy. Environmentalists would prefer building transit-friendly or walkable neighborhoods so Americans don’t need to use their cars as much.

The left is in complete disarray. Supporting migration never made any sense because it increases the environmental footprint of these migrants. Leftists literally get outbred by Muslim in urban areas. The left is a suicide cult

>>25618029 lowrises are a weird compromise, they combine the worst features of single-family houses and commieblocks. you don't have land like in a commieblock, and you have sprawl almost as bad as with single-family housing. and you don't get the anonymity of living in a 300-flat building where people generally try to respect each other's privacy and you may never meet your neighbors and are not expected to want to meet them. in a 2-story building you are basically shackled to a bunch of people you didn't choose. and of course you don't get the main advantage of living in a commieblock, which is having every shop and service in walking distance and open 24/7. with lowrises you still have to drive around, nobody would even run a bus line for a couple hundred of people

Last time USA was true super power was 1920-1959 When fastest passenger trains were American. Google Pennsylvania Railroad. They had steam trains faster than all European experimental race trains. Meanwhile PRR didn't bother getting WR tests. However based on time tables, people deduced it was fastest train and it was hauling passengers. Not just glory runs.
