It may be either too complex or too heavy to be reusable, the way it is now. If he picks two out of reusability, weight and cost he might have it flying. The booster is much more impressive in my opinion, and it shows real reusability, and maybe even real fast turnaround. With refined booster he can still do a cheap moon shot relatively easy. Or do something even more interesting, like asteroid capture, and then making it into an orbital shipyard for example.
