that is factually not true and the numbers for mindless stochastic parrot model of ai do not work out. it clearly forms some stuctures as per anthropic research and is capable of abstraction. interpretability research is almost non-existent for the actual models, so no one can say is going on inside the thing, but we know for a fact it's not just the next word likelihood.
