In order for the federal budget to be effectively reduced they need to reduce either one of or multiple of the big spenders from Social Security to Education. Medicare is a good target especially from the angle of corporate Republican America. That they are nearly spending $1 trillion dollars per year in interest should shame them. America is currently paying more on servicing their colossal debt than they are on defending their country. Musk's cuts won't change this. They need to go even deeper or raise taxes and we know they hate that.
