i'm in the process of switching to openmandriva and the only problem i've discovered so far is fonts in firefox, which is not much of an issue because i'm dumping firefox too another problem is that it has kde installed by default. the first time it tried to update kde i had to enlarge the vm hdd by 2gb or the update wouldn't run because this shit is massive in other regards i'm happy with openmandriva and will be removing fedora before version 42 that has telemetry up your ass if they have the telemetry infrastructure in place, they can 'accidentally' enable it at any moment. happens all the time with tor when it 'accidentally' enables js after an update

When I was new commer to Linux world I was so confused with everyone arguing over distros and some shit Than I realized its just word shit throwing contest without any substance Nobody really points out what is wrong with one distro over other but just give general statements "xyz distro is shit omg how can you use it" And its this endless retreated arguing over distros >muh ubuntu,vs mint vs fedora Then you actually realize they argue over different implementation of software On fedora you have different package manager and most of distros are just variation of package managers and few other shit. >omg this uses pipewire over pulse audio Like dude you can interchange anything on any linux what the fuck is point arguing about this useless shit We should call all linux systems as BLANK operating system and then call each brand of BLANK OS (DISTRO WITH XYZ CONFIGURATION) They are all same niggers stop arguing and pretending to be technical and smart

My current distro. Ubuntu/Debian users are still living in 2007.
