And it's kind of worse when you remember that Iraq war was not that far ago (14 years), maybe he even works with Iraq vets that remember the Humvee fiasco.
And this is what fascinates me on this whole MAGA propaganda shitting on Europe, they think their military and country is ready to be alone in this world.
Sure, no country is ever prepared for full scale war, Europe certainly isn't, and America have a lot of weapons, infrastructure and soldiers, but their delusions seem even greater than russians delusions before the invasion.
I have a feeling that when europeans finally cut ties, US will get themselves into a full scale war for (((whatever))) reason (the last one was the Korean War), and they will make russians in Ukraine looks like professionals.

No army is ready for modern war because no one knows how to counter drones and no army would have performed better than russian in Ukraine

Electronic warfare, using aircraft that fly higher than the drones fly to strike any radio transmitting sites.

Drones can be operated via fiber optic cables. They reportedly can fly up to 1km. I don't know how they do it. No radio signal is used.

Russia is massively deploying drones with fiber optic cable spools. And the same concept can be scaled to tight beam lasers.
Ukraine is also already deploying AI drones with thermal cameras.
It works as follows: A larger drone with a hard-coded flight path flies over a destination and drop smaller drones that will use the thermal cameras to find and hunt enemy soldiers on their own.
I don't think electronic warfare is a feasible solution

I didn't said that.
What I said is that being alone is dangerous, you never know when you're gonna fuck shit up.
Having allies won't stop you from fucking shit up, but at least you get you back if things go sour.
Without North Korea, Iran and China, I think Russia would have already fled Ukraine.

But neither ukraine nor russia has those.

Well. You gotta have some lack of IQ to wanna go sit in a fucking tank in the first place and potentially get blown to smithereens in a giant metal coffin. This guy kinda looks like the military version of Nikado Avocado.

Alright. But by agreeing with the soldier, you're conceding that tanks are actually rather useless as armour without having a wall of support surrounding them. Tanks are meant to be armoured vehicles that can shoot powerful shells and carry infantry and shield them from firing rounds.
The soldier says that the tanks can only be used after enemy positions have been obliterated by airpower - implying that the gun in the tank is not necessary nor the armour. It's then a redundant piece of kit.
In any case, even if tanks were to be deployed with this shield surrounding them, the threat of drones everwhere means that this shield would be required everywhere tanks go. That adds a price tag to the deployment of tanks far beyond the price of any individual platoon of tanks.
So tanks are simultaneously obsolete and expensive thanks to cheap 'hobby' drones as he said.

Tanks are almost useless in modern warfare. You basically can hit anything you want from safe distance now, you only need a spotter with some binoculars.
As Ukraine said they need more CV90 for troops transportation. Even the best tanks get blown up in no time.

He’s talking about a perfect coordinated mission facing an weaker enemy. They only have experience with weaker enemies. The battlefield nowadays is faster and chaotic.
When the „bubble“ of mechanized troops is hiding in the trenches the tank will still be standing in the field.
