Installed XFCE. Haven't gotten to installing ntfs-3g but my Windows 10 IoT LTSC nvme is automatically mounted and I can access the whole system without restrictions. Scary! I thought modern windows fixed that.

Retards like to pretend typing "pkg_manager install package" or "formatter format partition" in a command line is some kind of dark wizardry. The same people who define the desktop as "Windows". Gentoo is easy, yes, and an easy OS is a good thing. You may be the first Bernd in years who installed a decent distro (for Linux standards). There's really not much to do, you probably already have `-O3 -march=native` in your USE flags and that's most of what makes Gentoo a big deal. You can try setting up secure boot.
