>>25534129 It works on Fedora w/ Nvidia for me. Maybe Company IT would allow that. Red Hat is owned by IBM now after all.

Move the dock to the bottom of the screen and make it not extend the entire length of the screen. Make it hide itself until you move your mouse to the bottom of the screen. Add a wallpaper of your choice and voila.

Damn I forgot how fucking terrible lunix on desktop without customisation, no wonder why normies hate it - X11 can't use different scales on different devices so I can either look at massive text on my 34" 3440x1440 display or can't read the text on my 4K laptop display - retarded way of handling dual clipboards, I just want to paste the text I fucking copied - Even when you have one display, some text headers don't scale so you still have tiny text on your 4K monitor on GUI application titles - inconsistent key remapping when I don't want to use normie windows keys (alt as ctrl except when using emacs) - pulseaudio shits itself with a usb speaker lmao this took me half an hour to discover and still have no fix - no image based backup method to roll back to the original state - SNAP fucking up everything

>>25540882 >>25543387 I'm sorry Bernd, but you brought it upon yourself, you should have noticed that linuxtards are always talking about things freetards typically obsess with, and these things never include actually doing anything with the computer. You'll never hear a freetard say: >I just did my finances on the computer >I just finished writing my book on the computer >I saved all my family photos on the computer I.e. useful things you do with the computer. You'll always hear a freetard say: >look guys, I just spent 4 days ricing my i3, also linux just got support for my sound card and after 3 days debugging pipewire I have sound, linux works guys please switch from windows please #linuxdesktop #advocacy #softwarefreedoms

Don't forget to remap capslock to either esc or ctrl depending if you use Vim or Emacs.
