I once had a Clio. Can only recommend for a cheap car you don't want to give to much fucks about. Was a 2004 one i think and despite small motor it had quite a nice accleration due to low weight, so one could let the tires squeeze to impress women or bystanders. If you want to transport stuff then get a Kangoo. They are suprisingly good in off-road and once i attached a trailer over the weight of the car itself to it with a cow inside half the weight of the car, it still pulled it like nothing.
