In Germany, you can get a fine if you address a police officer informally ("duzt").

i fucking hate getting adressed formally, especially when its by people who know me a bit. the only people that should adress me formally are the cops, and i am willing to adress them formally, too.
a police officer adressed me informally last year, so i started adressing him informally to, which he didnt like. i then said that he offered me the informal speech, and since he was older, it would be only polite to accept it, and he didnt like that either. i fucking hate those alman boomers.

its not beamtenbeleidigung, but they still can insist of being insulted by your informal language. they are absolutely anal about it, i somewhere got a photo of a criminal complaint by the cops because someone in a traffic control said something like "you are a clever fox". boom, 100 euros fine.

Usually when cops are charging you with Beleidigung it means you deserve it for being an asshole.

yeah, for the most cases. doesnt change the fact they can screw you over for every percieved cheekyness, and if one of then decides to fuck with you, there is nothing you can do about it, complaining doesnt do shit, even if they obviously treat you like shit or beat you up

Wow, you learned about that trivia that Beamtenbeleidigung is not its own finable offense. Amazing.
Point still stands, you can get fined in germany if you adress a cop informal. And there is lots of cases where it was enforced.
If you were not a zoomer you would know that even dieter bolen got in trouble for this. But dieters lawyers argued he is informal with everybody, so its not meant as a insult.
