foid at work said that she still needs to get a present for my birthday ( its in a couple of months), which is very unusual because we dont do gifts. Only a few hours after she said that, I thought about telling her to not get me a present.

I gave her one last year but it was just something really insignificant, basically just a card holder for like 1€ because hers broke

You should absolutely tell her that you want to keep work and private life seperated and that you would rather have her to NOT buy you a present and that you dont care that much about birthdays anyway.
