>Consumer Financial Protection Bureau >Since its founding, the CFPB has used technology tools to monitor how financial entities used social media and algorithms to target consumers.[2] How does this help consumers?

>House Republicans criticized the methodology the CFPB uses to identify instances of racial discrimination among auto lenders. Because of legal constraints, the agency used a system to "guess" the race of auto loan applicants based on their last name and listed address. Based on that information, the agency charged several lenders were discriminating against minority applicants and levied large fines and settlements against those companies. Oh, they protect niggers from financial racism. Very useful

Well you're propping up technocrats to ensure they're going to achieve their goals of creating corporate states and continue overseas NGO operations to further secure their grip on some part of the world, while maintaining their wealth. This is merely politicking with no backlash because they own all of it, so gutting a lot of these services may seem like a good idea, but we all know Trump is merely doing it to save a few of his buddies so he himself can save his family.

>>25450420 you do realize that rich people don't actually pay taxes. at least not most of them. in fact, a lot of them pay LESS in taxes than workers, in terms of percentage of their income. there are tons of ways for them to evade taxes, and its quite easy to do so if you're making over 7 figures a year. just look up common methods of tax evasion, literally all rich people do them. i can say this because i have rich relatives who know other rich people and they all get super touchy whenever you talk about taxes with them.

>>25450420 Elon is also gutting the IRS. If he takes it far enough I'll probably stop paying federal income tax and I know a lot of people eyeing the situation. So that $2 trillion may quickly balloon into a much bigger deficit.

I don't give a fuck. I just hope as a side effect we can have movies again with only white male characters. Even Mad Max is woke garbage because of Furiosa.

>>25450420 The federal budget "deficit" is the government giving more money than it takes away from people. The cost of those federal agencies aren't as big as other liabilities. Trump wants to bring down interest rates and basically implies he will just do a selective default... which would be way more dramatic economically... and America's foreign trade deficit could get a lot worse and people paying tariffs makes the budget get "balanced". Rich people end up with a lot more money they have to figure out what to do with which result in a lot of mergers and acquisitions maybe.
