how majy "X autists" do you inow?
i know a pcb / microcontroller autist who works in the industry and spends all his free time on designing pcbs for fun.
i also know a car autist who works as a car mechanic and only ever talks about cars and of course has multiple hobby cars he works on.
i envy these people, they have found their callings and desire for nothing more.

I actually hate these types of people, especially if they're in the field you work in
Some quotes:
>Of course, our failures are a consequence of many factors, but possibly one of the most important is the fact that society operates on the theory that specialization is the key to success, not realizing that specialization precludes comprehensive thinking.
>Specialization breeds biases that ultimately aggregate as international and ideological discord, which, in turn, leads to war.
>Specialization is in fact only a fancy form of slavery wherein the 'expert' is fooled into accepting a slavery by making him feel that he in turn is a socially and culturally preferred-ergo, highly secure-lifelong position.
>A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Oh yea that was really cringe.
Even though I do most of what I have to do myself, the experts in leadership and banking must be laughing the loudest about this.
