Germans pronounce the word “Kunst” as it is written, and not “Kunscht”. Why? I am betrayed against.

I guess it seems to be a rule if St (or Sp) is at the beginning of the word or if it's at the end. If it's at the end and you pronounce it as scht, then that's most often dialect (Bavarians do it too). Normal (Hochdeutsch) is st though. Durst Wurst Fürst Stiefel stinken Sport and do son

>>24887261 >Stiefel >stinken >Sport S* at the beginning and pronounced as Sch. Although I think very old Northern Germans pronounce it as "Sport" and not "Schport"

I say Kunscht. Living at the French border. Well, when I'm talking to local friends and family. Standard German at work.
