The universe is infact a very boring place. You'd think its vastness and infiniteness makes it the most vibrant amazing place you'd want to explore. Millions of planets, millions of creatures, millions of species all mapped out right? But God hasnt really been all that creative.
While millions of planets with life do exist, the life itself looks more or less the same as what we have on our own planet, just with slight variations.
Snakes, reptiles, amphibians, crustaceans, insects, mammals, birds etc all form a basic matrix throughout the universe but with different levels of thinking progress and technological advancement. If one type of creature is a simple harmless pest on our planet, it can fly rockets and spaceships on another distant planet.
Basically, all breathing creatures from our planet exist in one shape or form all around the universe with slight variations (Humanoid mammals, humanoid reptiles, amphibians, bugs etc) and thats pretty much all the universe has to offer. Its quite underwhelming really.
