Can someone give me simple solution for TTS on Linux for reading PDFs , ePubs or whatever
There is somewhat good ReadEra free app for Android but I dont want to listen over Android
Just give me some simple straight forward solution that are not super shitty synthetic voices

I tried something with FreeBSD many years ago. So many that I can't remember what it was called. There were a variety of voices but all were error prone without extensive training data which was at the time unfree. One female voice sounded something like Penelope Cruz.
