>>25508189 Was this shit put inside of you or removed? I broke my shoulder, dogtor said it's possible to use free metal plate (that has to be removed afterwards, so it's 2 surgeries), or I can order some titanium plates which will stay inside of me. Obviously I've spent 600 euro and now I'm forever augumented.

>>25508262 Bone fills in naturally over few months, broken bone part a lot stronger than unbroken after full heal. Problem with titanium is that it doest flex like bone and body doest like alien parts in it so there is risk from infection. Also i think a nerve was rubbing on it when doing a lot of turning and moving activities all day

>>25508331 >lol, imagine Americans reaction reading this AI says this, well at least i got refunded the tax i paid all these years to gov. The cost of removing femoral neck screws and a plate in the United States can vary widely, but here are some general estimates: 1. Surgical Costs: The surgery itself, including the surgeon's fee, can range from $17,000 to $35,000. 2. Anesthesia: The cost of spinal anesthesia can add several thousand dollars to the total bill. 3. Hospital Stay: A full day of hospitalization can cost anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000 or more, depending on the facility. 4. Additional Fees: There may be additional costs for pre- and post-surgical care, medications, and follow-up visits. These are rough estimates and actual costs can vary significantly. If you have health insurance, your out-of-pocket expenses may be lower, but it's best to check with your insurance provider for specific coverage details.

>>25509234 Okay, I can even remotely, remotely understand the idea of grossly overpaid surgeons and other supporting personnel, and very expensive tooling, during the operation itself. I can even grasp that a lot of prescription medicine is way overpriced in the US because they're literally being jewed and will defend that. > A full day of hospitalization can cost anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000 or more, depending on the facility. This is just beyond me. How can a fucking day in a hospital bed cost more than a full week all inclusive stay in a 5 star resort in Dominican Republic, where the climate is great, infrastructure is ok and it's literally an hour's flight from Florida. What the fucking hell.

>>25511975 depends. titanium ones can stay permanent. and if you smash bones up properly and they dont grow together good then dogtors will send you to hui saying. But there are many factors, like if you keep them in for more and more years than it becomes more intrusive and worse to take out. They can start to cause issues later when you age. And the Anesthesiologist i went to recently said the fuck why you didnt take em out faster, body tries to reject all thats not natural and can cause infections etc. Well the fucking surgeons always said its fine and how its grown together good and its better to let them in. Fast forward 8 years. a lot of times pain appears, more and more by each few months especially since i do physical work Asked Surgeon/Traumatologists on it they continued to shill how they should stay. Year passes and constant pain, paid and went to University Hospital Traumatologist Orthopedist that specializes in traumas like this and especially for athletes and he literally first day said, take out. Checked the previous work of the surgeon 8 years ago said it was good work done but then checked the design of these screws and told me its a know issue these years that these designs cause problems in 1 out of 10 people. Then he got upset that its been 9 years and surgery will be a lot harder. But turned out that my body had grown together bone so well there were no issues and he removed them with ease. But a lot of flesh got cut up and specially off the plate.so the surgery was quite bloody and now i have all hip bandaged and it will take 3 weeks for it to grow together on a level so i can walk by putting 100% strength on leg and then a month or two more to grow it all together properly the bone holes etc.
