I remember when I told my mother in Texas that I voted for the KPD (their successor party) and she got so mad at me. I wanted to vote for Die Linke but people said they were like the East German SED and had never really rehabilitated themselves. So now I just vote for the SPD like everyone else around me does. I want to be hard core but my mom won't let me.
