Nice to see hot stacies and high school girls dressed up in costumes. Though I would never approach them. Of course Bernd didn't dress up because There are vendors or stalls, which is what was more of a highlight for me. A lot of people set up stalls and they are forced to talk to you if there is no one else browsing their items. Huehue. Everything is overpriced, but I enjoyed seeing other people's artwork I only went to a small local con though. This was many years ago. Larger ones may have better experiences, like idol shows, voice actors, etc.

it's alright. they've been invaded by normies that exclusively watch shonenshit so don't expect to meet many interesting people, all the cosplayers are just one piece, mha, aot, shit like that. but if you go with friends it's a fun time. comiket in japan looks fun though, they seem to go all out on the more ""degenerate"" series. i would love to visit sometime.

Yeah, I go lurking but nowadays I feel too old and out of place, most of the userbase is 16-20. Yes, there are people my age but they are with kids or with a group. I don't think I will attend them again. To be honest I don't like anime much, but high effort cosplays look cool and events such as live cover bands are fun. Last summer it started raining and I took cover under a stand with some boys. One was warning the others of STDs and how he recently got one. The others were sympathizing with him and sharing their stories, too. For me the conversation was mesmerizing because I'm a wizard.

Last times I went to cons (anime, no Hollywood shit) most of the contestants change into civil clothes after their stage performance robbing visitors of admiring their beauty, costumes, wigs, weapons and other paraphernalia. I love the ones who flaunt results of their efforts in hall for hours so everybody can take as much pictures as they want.
