suburb-haters are not even from suburbs. suburbs are really nice, you get your own castle with your own little fiefdom around it and you can grow vegetables or just have a nice lawn, do what you want with it, grill burgers in the backyard. being a teenager in the suburbs hanging out with friends after school is so nice. britoids with their paper-thin walls where they can hear the neighbors shagging will never understand how nice it is to have quiet and privacy and space... and there's plenty of green everywhere and you get animals in the backyard. squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, skunks, possums, groundhogs, songbirds, ducks, geese (fuck geese though they shit everywhere), foxes... it's the perfect balance of civilization and nature
