There was this Youtube fashion channel guy who said "I make fashion content for people who are not deeply into fashion"... or something like that. I thought that was a pretty apt statement that I could vibe with. I believe it was "Stridewise" or something.

>>25489401 Asian Americans dress very preppy and Japanese are far less trashy than Americans I want to dress trad but it can get quite expensive although the clothing is higher quality. Check out the gentleman's gazette on YouTube he is a kraut who does like 20s-50s stuff sometimes 1800s he's quite knowledgeable and a good place to start For now to get started start dressing classy try to buy an outfit instead of individual pieces.
Bernd Fri, 21 Feb 2025 14:29:43 GMT No. 25489455
Best way to start is to just start buying stuff that is only made from natural fabrics, cotton wool linen mostly. It automatically looks and feels better and polyester is the textile jew.

>>25489581 Women love a manly beard though. And yes, it's also about confidence and your smile. Women like men who smile, this is why the 1st guy is more attractive to women than the 2nd. Body language is also huge, if you cross your arms, you're perceived as less confident, so the 3rd guy is less attractive than the 4th, obviously

You are too poor to afford anything good, leave fashion alone.

>>25489401 It can get expensive! What I personally recommend is going to second hand and thrift stores. It's what all of my fashionable Parisian friends do, and it's worked well for me as well. Make sure to know your size (not necessarily your real size, just what size of clothes looks best on you), learn a bit about colors, and dress differently depending on the occasion. Also, make sure to check the labels for the materials to make sure it's not made of plastic that will deteriorate easily, and never buy from shitty fast fashion companies (which is basically all of the popular brands of clothes)

Brazil is too hot for traditional fashion and good brazilian fashion is yet to be invented >>25489532 That's true too

>>25489532 This is certainly true to a degree. But in truth, if you wear clothes that actually fit you properly and colors that match each other well, you will absolutely look better. The guy in picture 4 is wearing a rather odd color scheme (the dark red shirt clashes with the brown), his collar is popped in an unusual manner, his hat doesn't fit properly, and his pants are way too high up and thus aren't properly fitted. The shoes are also odd, the tan and brown combo isn't great. Even if he was really attractive, the outfit would look rather mediocre. He would still be attractive but the outfit would not help. The guy in picture 2 is wearing a decent hat and it is properly fitting, but it's more of a fisherman's hat and would only look good if he completely went for an Amish look and wore a proper white shirt with suspenders, dark trousers and dark dress shoes, and switched out those glasses for nice ones with metal frames. In an ideal world he would not do that and instead wear a hat suited for urban environments. Or just not wear a hat at all.

>>25489751 They wore suits of very thin wool (tropical wool) or linen, which are both perfectly comfortable for heat, or at least as comfortable as any other clothing. The rise of p*lyester has ruined that because you will be drenched in sweat wearing polyester dress clothes in the heat.
