>>25491239 There's a shit ton of 18-30 yo Brits, Aussies, Germans, French etc. especially at hostels. Thailand is very safe if you're white. Unless you're a woman going to some drug party there's basically nothing to fear but corrupt police who want some money. Phuket is the worst place as explained before. Southern border is officially dangerous but you can travel there as well.

Explain to your boss that you can do the exact same work, but now subcontracted to your company. >>25491482 No, they are different. You do need to live there, at least for a while. Usually you are considered a tax resident of the country in which you spend 183 days or more per year. It can also depend on national legislation and on bilateral tax treaties. It is also possible to "slow travel" and avoid all income taxes simply by not staying in any country for more than 6 months per year.

>>25491538 I did spent some nights driving stoned and drunk through these jungly hills. Met this kot I named Herbert. (Position from where I took last picture I posted if you want to visit him) I hope he's doing fine. There's a lot of wooden huts in these hills. Small "villages", more like a few tiny wooden houses, stray dogs, scorpions.

Anyways I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures. If you could from somewhere central Phuket in the jungle. What I also enjoyed is that contrary to Arab Muslims, the Thai Muslims are rather chill. Women have their traditional face makeup whilst wearing pale pink head scarfs but it's absolutely no problem to talk to them or be nice to them in public or in front of their husband.

>>25491613 Yeah Thais in general are sociable and nice to interact with. In a 7-Eleven a teen Thai Muslim girl was flirting with me and jokingly asked me if I would buy her something. I was too slow, probably could have gotten her contacts and banged her.

>>25491607 I think it was already closed when I visited. Or it was closed because we were too late. Don't remember exactly. Roadside restaurants in all of Thailand were probably my favorite experience. Stop, pay 1,50-2,50$ and have a full, tasty meal.

>>25491625 Yes they're very friendly and hospitable. This one restaurant owner ordered a colorful shirt from an online shop and tried it on while we were eating and we took a picture together. He made me wear it. At first I thought he was going to gift it to me and I started to decline because I saw how much it did cost on his phone. But he just wanted to see me wearing it and we took a picture. Damn I need to book a flight. Picrel said restaurant.

>>25491639 Yes, directly on the beach in Patong of course you pay a lot for a meal. By a lot I mean €7 or €9, which is actually quite cheap compared to much of Europe. But just a few streets back in Patong you find very cozy little family-run places. Yesterday I had fried chicken, rice, salad, and iced tea, all for 90 Baht, which is like €2,70.

>>25491658 Same goes for fruits. 1,50€ - 2€ for a coconut in tourist areas. A third of that in Thai areas. I don't even remember how much I paid for 1kg of mango but it was less than 1€ and the lady was surprised I gave her a 10 cent tip. A thousand Bhat were 21€ in August. Now it's 28€. Prices for us increased a lot in last couple of months. Still very cheap but 30% increase is a lot if you're not just burning money on a vacation.
