Some solar panel online calculator says I need $3000 worth of solar panels covering 28 square meters to satisfy my household energy needs. Assuming I stop using utility electricity (5rub/kWH) they will pay for themselves in 10 years. However if I need to buy an accumulator to use electricity not only during the light hours that period is going to be even longer.
